Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.
In a late-night order on Good Friday while most of America was getting ready for a long holiday weekend, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down a decision to temporarily block the Trump administration’s effort to deport dozens of Venezuelan illegal aliens, many of them accused violent criminal acts involving the brutal Tren de Aragua prison gang.
They used the archaic Alien Enemies Act of 1798 as the legal basis for their decision.
The ruling came after a last-minute emergency appeal filed by the far-left American Civil Liberties Union.
The ACLU’s case is now under review by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. After receiving a tip that illegal aliens were being loaded onto buses for removal, the ACLU rushed to the U.S. Supreme Court seeking an emergency injunction to block the deportations.
While waiting for the Fifth Circuit to act, the Court issued an unsigned order siding with the ACLU’s appeal, temporarily halting the removal of dozens of Venezuelans detained at the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Texas.
The court neither granted nor denied the application filed by the detainees’ attorneys but effectively put the case on hold, impacting individuals being detained in the Northern District of Texas.
Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito strongly dissented from the majority ruling.
Alito said the Supreme Court intervened before the Fifth Circuit had the chance to weigh in. That violates the normal hierarchy of judicial review.
Alito wrote:
“When this Court rushed to enter its order, the Court of Appeals was considering the issue of emergency relief, and we were informed that a decision would be forthcoming. This Court, however, refused to wait.”
Alito blasted the majority for violating the Court’s own Rule 23.3, which requires seeking relief in lower courts first.
Alito noted that the government had not even been allowed to file a response, either in the Supreme Court or the lower courts, before the injunction was granted. He emphasized that the Court acted solely on claims made by the applicants, who are illegal-alien detainees, without any concrete evidence of “imminent danger of removal.”
Now, the Trump administration has released shocking images of Venezuelan nationals tied to the notorious Tren de Aragua gang.

According to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, citing a senior administration official, the men pictured were among those set for imminent removal from the U.S. before the Supreme Court intervened.
Their rap sheets include child abuse, felony assault on police officers, drug trafficking, and weapons charges. And just like that, it’s all been swept under the rug by left-wing legal groups determined to obstruct lawful deportation efforts.

Reuters reports that Israel has not ruled out an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities in the coming months despite President Donald Trump telling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the U.S. was for now unwilling to support such a move, according to an Israeli official and two other people familiar with the matter.
Israeli officials have vowed to prevent Tehran from acquiring a nuclear weapon and Netanyahu has insisted that any negotiation with Iran must lead to the complete dismantling of its nuclear program.
U.S. and Iranian negotiators are set for a second round of preliminary nuclear talks in Rome on Saturday.
Over the past months, Israel has proposed to the Trump administration a series of options to attack Iran’s facilities, including some with late spring and summer timelines, the sources said. The plans include a mix of airstrikes and commando operations that vary in severity and could set back Tehran's ability to weaponize its nuclear program by just months or a year or more, the sources said.
The New York Times reported on Wednesday that Trump told Netanyahu in a White House meeting earlier this month that Washington wanted to prioritize diplomatic talks with Tehran and that Trump was unwilling to support a strike on the country’s nuclear facilities in the short term.
But Israeli officials now believe their military could instead launch a limited strike on Iran that would require less U.S. support. Such an attack would be significantly smaller than those Israel initially proposed.

Three aides for Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth who were placed on leave amid a probe into leaks have now been officially fired.
On Friday it was reported that Pete Hegseth's Chief of Staff, Joe Kasper, was leaving his role amid a shakeup at the Pentagon after a probe into leaks.
Earlier last week an advisor to Hegseth was put on leave for leaking.
Dan Caldwell, who was also a part of the Mike Waltz Houthi Signal chat group, was escorted out of the Pentagon on Tuesday for "an unauthorized disclosure," according to Reuters.
Deputy Chief of Staff Darin Selnick and Colin Carroll, chief of staff to Deputy Secretary of Defense Stephen Feinberg, were also placed on leave and escorted out of the Pentagon.
According to Politico, Caldwell, Selnick and Carroll were officially terminated on Friday. Two of the fired aides, Carroll and Selnick, plan to sue for wrongful termination, the outlet reported.
A Pentagon official told Fox News:
"This is not about interpersonal conflict. There is evidence of leaking. This is about unauthorized disclosures, up to and including classified information.”

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church celebrated Pascha on Sunday despite the Zelensky regime's ongoing persecution.
Parishioners of the church have been seen all across Ukraine, fearlessly honoring the sacred day of Christ’s resurrection referred to as Easter in the West and Pascha by Eastern Orthodox Christians.
The Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) held their Pascha service in the Church of St. Agapit of the Caves, led by the head of the UOC, the Metropolitan of Kiev.
Footage released by the UOC press service shows a large number of attendees.
UOC celebrations have been held outside the cathedral at a second Kiev holy site for the second year in a row after the church building was seized by the breakaway nationalist group known as the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), which operates with the full support of the Zelensky regime.
The Union of Orthodox Journalists has been collecting photos and videos to document Easter celebrations by persecuted UOC parishioners across Ukraine. Up to six million Ukrainians remain part of the UOC community.
In recent years, Ukrainian authorities have actively sought to dismantle the UOC, revoking its land lease rights. Meanwhile, with official backing, supporters of the pro-government OCU have forcibly seized church buildings and attacked clergy.
UOC priests have also been subjected to arrest, harassment and other forms persecution. Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have baselessly charged UOC clergy with treason and other crimes in an effort to intimidate the church.
On September 23, 2024, a law initiated by Zelensky banning the church took effect, requiring the UOC to sever all ties with their brother and sister in the Russian Orthodox Church within nine months.

Pope Francis was too frail to lead Easter services at the Vatican Sunday but surprised his followers by taking a ride in his popemobile around St. Peter’s Square.
Francis called for freedom of thought and tolerance in his Easter Sunday address, as the weakened pontiff delighted the crowds of Catholic faithful by making a much hoped-for holiday appearance.
"Happy Easter," said the 88-year-old Argentine pope in a weak voice from his wheelchair on the balcony of St Peter's Basilica.
The pope's battle with pneumonia has kept him mostly away from Holy Week events but Francis made a major effort on Sunday, waving at the crowd and blessing babies from his popemobile for nearly 15 minutes despite appearing fragile and listless.
After giving his Easter greetings to the crowd, estimated at more than 35,000 people, from the basilica's balcony, Francis delegated the reading of his traditional "To the City and the World" benediction to one of his cardinals.

The Gateway Pundit reports that a group of British Muslims of Iranian origin, led by Anjem Choudary, is threatening to file a lawsuit before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
They allege that Spain's traditional Holy Week processions are an “offense to Islam” and to the Prophet Muhammad. They’re demanding they be banned immediately.
The Muslim group intends to sue Spain over these Catholic processions, with Choudary arguing that these religious events, rooted in Catholic tradition, are a provocation against Muslims.
It's an offense to the thousands of Muslims “forced to live in secrecy,” declared the leader, known for his history of radical statements. The legal challenge seeks to have Spain suspend these centuries-old celebrations, triggering a strong backlash throughout the country.
In recent years, several European countries have faced similar tensions.
In France, for example, a 2024 report revealed that Islamist groups attempted to ban Christmas celebrations in public spaces, claiming they offended their faith.
In Belgium, Christmas markets were canceled following similar pressures, a move that unsurprisingly sparked massive protests. These cases reveal a troubling pattern: the imposition of cultural restrictions under the guise of tolerance.
This case also raises serious questions about the limits of multiculturalism in Europe. Should ancient traditions give way to external demands?
The Strasbourg court's decision could set a dangerous precedent, not only for Spain but for the entire continent.

World Net Daily reports that a Canadian man seeking surgery for a workplace-related injury was denied, while forms for requesting medical assistance in dying were immediately granted to him.
The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition (EPC) republished the shocking story, originally posted at Canadian veteran Kelsi Sheren's personal blog. The man in question believed the Canadian healthcare system would offer him 'medical assistance in dying' (MAiD) before agreeing to surgery, and he was correct. He received the forms for MAiD immediately and was denied surgery.
Sheren writes:
“Today I received a photo and post from a Dr friend of mine, who pointed out the most wild case of MAiD overreach I've seen in a while, and to be frank there has been several a day.”
Alex Schadenberg, executive director of the EPC, reached out to the man for clarification. The man told Schadenberg he had been upset by his doctor's refusals to provide him with surgery and decided to test the system's corruption by requesting MAiD to see how quickly his request for death would be answered.
The man said:
"She (the doctor) didn't push suicide on me. To clarify, I've been begging for surgery and they have denied me. If I ask for assisted suicide they have everything ready to go. That's the point I'm trying to get across. I asked for these forms out of anger and got them immediately."
Unfortunately, this story is not rare. Live Action News has reported how other Canadian citizens, including veterans, have been refused government assistance for corrective surgery and equipment needed for day-to-day living, and instead have been offered assisted suicide.
When Christine Gauthier, a Canadian army veteran and Paralympian in her 50s, requested government assistance with obtaining medical equipment, Veterans Affairs Canada sent her a letter offering to kill her instead of granting her the equipment. She said in an interview: “I have a letter saying that if you're so desperate, madam, we can offer you MAiD, medical assistance in dying… I was like, 'I can't believe that you will… give me an injection to help me die, but you will not give me the tools I need to help me live.' It was really shocking to hear that kind of comment.”
Canadian journalist Sheila Gunn Reid followed a 2,200-page paper trail from the Veterans Affairs Ministry documenting veterans' cases, and found that caseworkers repeatedly suggested MAiD to ailing veterans. Veteran Affairs Canada covered up the cases when they caused a scandal.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.
Slay News reports that a new UK government report has revealed long-term plans to ban meat and dairy consumption in an effort to comply with the globalist Net Zero targets for fighting so-called climate change.
Achieving Net Zero by the year 2050 requires complete transformation of the food supply, according to the report.
The report was produced by the government’s taxpayer-funded UK FIRES agency.
According to the UK government, the nation’s agricultural and food system will be transformed to eliminate beef, lamb, and all dairy products from the British public’s diet.
For the UK to meet these demands, the government will need to completely ban all meat and dairy products within 25 years.
UK FIRES is a nonprofit NGO that advises governments on how to meet the globalists’ insane Net Zero targets.
Among the horrors outlined in its latest report is a future reliance on highly processed food.
The report urges beef and lamb to be replaced with lab-grown fake meats, plant-derived products, and insect-based foods.
The report says animal fat can be processed to give “definitive flavor and mouth feel of meat,” and these can be combined with plant-based ingredients.
The report does not say what type of animals the fat would be sourced from.
Of course, we know that the climate hucksters have long said that meal worms, cockroach milk, crickets and other disgusting things would make excellent sources of protein for the unwashed masses.
This, of course, is to take place while the elites dine on the choicest steaks and seafood and get about in their private jets.
That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for tuning in and supporting this broadcast.
Until next time…
